Connect2 Help’s (2 1 1) Hamilton County 2010 Supplement Of The Rainbow Book™ Now Available Free

Carmel, IN ….For the first time ever, Hamilton County’s social services community worked closely with Connect2Help to produce the Hamilton County 2010 Rainbow BooK™ supplement. Connect2Help, the publisher of The Rainbow BooK™ is a United Way agency that helps facilitate connections between people who need health and human services and those who provide them.

The Hamilton County supplement has been in the works for the past year and this newly expanded edition is a direct result of United Way of Central Indiana’s 2008 Community Assessment collaboration with the Hamilton County Task Force. The Hamilton County Task Force consists of community leaders from Clarian North Hospital, Community Hospital, St. Vincent Carmel Hospital, Riverview Hospital and many social services providers and local businesses. During a series of meetings it was discovered that there was no easy way for social service providers, first responders, hospitals and schools to assist those in need in Hamilton County.

The directory will now be available free of charge to all first responders, schools and hospitals. With a generous gift from Citizens Energy, Duke Energy and UWCI, anyone in need of social service information will be able to download the Hamilton County 2010 Rainbow BooK™ supplement free from the Connect2Help website by visiting: www.connect2help.org.

Connect2Help telephone information and referral line answers calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone needing help can simply dial 2-1-1 to find out about resources from a trained Connect2Help Specialist.
