Increase Funding for the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG)!

The National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies and MomsRising.org are teaming up with parents to fight for increased funding for the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG). Increasing the funding by $1.6 billion would help keep kids safe in child care and increase the quality and affordability of child care nationwide.

You can make a difference and help 1.6 million families nationwide! Sign the petition by clicking here to support high quality, affordable, and safe child care.

The law allocating child care funds to the states, CCDBG, has not been seriously looked at in about 20 years. There are parts of the law that should be strengthened to ensure that child care in every state is safe and promotes children's healthy development. Click here to send an email to your Member of Congress to urge them to strengthen CCDBG.
