As part of the Safe to Sleep campaign (formerly the Back to Sleep campaign), the National Institute of Child Health and Development offers a free, downloadable publication, Safe Sleep for Your Baby- https://www.nichd.nih.gov/publications/pubs_details.cfm?from=&pubs_id=5794. The brochure explains ways parents and caregivers can reduce the risks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related causes of infant death and provide a safe sleep environment for infants.
On October, 30, Betty McEntire with the American SIDS Institute and Shelly Blecha, Child Care Aware of America® parent leader, will host a free webinar discussing safe sleep practices, SIDS and prevention.
