How to teach poison prevention programs to children


• Do you teach injury prevention programs for preschool/elementary school children?

• Would you like to promote poison safety in your own community?

If you answered “yes” - the Indiana Poison Center can help you teach poison safety.

Who? Anyone who teaches injury prevention programs for preschool and/or
elementary school children.

How long? 3 hours.

How much? The workshop is FREE

Where? 1812 N. Capitol, Wile Hall, 3rd Floor, Room W310, Methodist Hospital,
Indianapolis

When? Wednesday, May 26th from 9:00 a.m.–12 p.m. OR Tuesday June 8th from
12:30-3:30 p.m.

What? Training provides poison prevention background for the instructor,
activity ideas and materials to teach children poison safety and a way
to get the poison safety message home to parents and other adults.
