Promoting Social Emotional Competencies
Preschool Session (1.5 CEU’s)
Preschoolers and Challenging Behaviors: These 12 hours will take a look at challenging behaviors in the 3-5 year old classroom. A model of social and emotional competence will be used throughout and many teaching strategies will be shown. Come prepared to learn, listen, share and participate in
rethinking challenging behaviors and making children more successful in your child care setting.
Participants must commit to all nights and complete required assignments in order to obtain the training certificate and CEU’s.
DATES/TIME: May 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th ~ 6pm-9pm
LOCATION: Noblesville Library North Meeting Room One Library Plaza Noblesville 46060
COST: $60 (payment must be received no later than April 26th)

Infant Session (1 CEU)
Participants will be introduced to a teaching pyramid model and actively discuss strategies for handling challenging behaviors with children ages birth to age 3. Practical classroom teaching strategies and discussions will be part of this 9 hour course. Participants must commit to all nights
and complete required assignments in order to obtain the training certificate and CEU’s.
DATES/TIME: June 10, 17,and 24 ~ 6pm-9pm
LOCATION: Day Nursery Lilly, Indianapolis
COST: $50 (payment must be received no later than June 1st )
