Leadership Basics for Faith-Based Programming

What is Leadership? Why is it important in your child care ministry?

• Four Class Sessions on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Purdue Extension office in Marion County.
• $55 for all four classes!
• Textbook and handouts provided.
• Located at 6640 Intech Blvd., Ste. 120 in Indianapolis.

Class assignments are web-based—about 2 hours of self-study and practice on your own for each 3-hour class. You will need computer access to participate. All four classes total 20 training hours (CEU’s from Purdue University).

Topics include: Understanding Leadership; Understanding Our Values and Character; Understanding Differences; Listening and Speaking Clearly; Building Relationships; Building Teams; Problem Solving in Teams; and Managing Conflict.
