Scholarships Available for Indiana AEYC Memberships

Membership Scholarship

Membership in the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children (Indiana AEYC) includes:

NAEYC – National Level
  • Publications (comprehensive members only), Young Children or Teaching Young Children journals, insurance options, resource catalog, advocacy efforts, professional development resources and opportunities, and internet resources
Indiana AEYC – State Level
  • State E-Newsletter, State Conference discounts, Public Policy Agenda and Alerts, Program Recognition, Accreditation, Scholarships, Early Childhood Awards, Month of the Young Child information, networking, leadership, and volunteer opportunities
Indiana AEYC Local Chapter – Local Level
  • Newsletters, Awards and Grants, Local Chapter Conference Discounts, Professional Development Opportunities, Resources and Networking

Scholarship Requirements
  1. Complete the application (located at http://secure.iaeyc.org/membership/membership-scholarship/) and submit it to the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children or the local INDIANA AEYC chapter in your area.
  2. Scholarships are awarded based on interest/commitment to joining INDIANA AEYC and a local chapter, demographic information, and membership status.

Indy Chapter of IAEYC hosts trainings on the Foundations

Come and join in this fun, hands on learning opportunity with the Foundations to the Indiana Academic Standards from birth to age 5.

· Participants will observe and participate in activities that support the Foundations.
· Participants will take home new ideas while earning .25 CEU’s per session.
· There will be 5 sessions held at Ivy Tech Community College ~ Fourth Floor Auditorium, 50 W. Fall Creek Pkwy. N. Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
· Admission Fee: $10 per session, or $40.00 if paying for all 5 sessions in advance.
· Copies of the Foundations will be given out at the Orientation on January 31st.
· Each session will run from 10:00 am to 12:30.

Looking for a Bachelor's Degree?


Early Childhood Education is important in Central Indiana. In fact the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children is teaming up with Ball State University to offer classes that you can use towards earning your Bachelor’s Degree in ECE. This is a great opportunity for ECE in Indianapolis, and we are hoping for a strong turn-out so that this program will continue with Ball State.
